Die Migrationspolitik muss sich auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene neu ausrichten. Was die etablierten Parteien in ihren Wahlprogrammen 2017 fordern, ist dabei nicht immer ausreichend. In diesem Polis Paper bilden daher fünf Themenkapitel (Kapitel 2-6) die aktuelle Debatte ab und geben evidenzbasierte Vorschläge, wie moderne Migrationspolitik weitergedacht werden kann.

Die Projektgruppe Arbeitsmarktintegration setzte sich mit VertreterInnen aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Zivilgesellschaft zusammen um alternative Wege für die Anerkennung von Qualifikationen bei Geflüchteten zu diskutieren. Die Ergebnisse dieses Austauschs wurden nun im Rahmen des Polis Briefs weiter bearbeitet und zu Handlungsempfehlungen geformt.

Polis180 etabliert ein neues Kurzformat, das „Polis Brief“. In der ersten Ausgabe plädieren Lisa Crinon, Anne-Marie Kortas, Adrian Sonder und Lea-Maria Warlich für neue, kompetenzbasierte Anerkennungsverfahren, um Geflüchtete besser in den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt zu integrieren.

Oktober rund 25 ExpertInnen aus Verbänden, Politik und Vereinen in den Räumen der BMW Stiftung ein, um im gemeinsamen Erfahrungsaustausch Weiterentwicklungsmögichkeiten von Kompetenzfeststellungsverfahren zu erarbeiten.

Der deutsche Arbeitsmarkt legt großen Wert auf formal erworbene Qualifikationen. Eine große Zahl der nach Deutschland kommenden Flüchtlinge können eben diese nicht vorweisen. Eine langfristige Integration bedarf deshalb alternativer Zugangswege zur Beschäftigung in Deutschland.

In 2016, Europe continues to seek ways of how to best integrate large numbers of refugees. Successful integration largely depends on how well refugees can be incorporated into their new home countries’ economies. As legal and procedural obstacles often prevent a quick start in the labor force, other ways have to be found that allow refugees to utilize their skills, businesses to get in touch with prospective new employees, and for social bonds to be made. The following outline aims to overcome these hurdles and provide a way of including refugees into their new home societies from the get-go.
