SpotlightAsia Live is our monthly event series where we aim to discuss current and relevant topics from the Indo-Pacific region. We aim to provide information on various cultural, geopolitical, economic and social issues from different countries in the region.
Our next edition of Spotlight Asia Live is coming up!
On July 5, 7-8pm (CET)
we will be focusing on the current developments in Malaysia.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Andreas Ufen, Senior Research Fellow at GIGA Institute Hamburg and Dr. Bridget Welsh, Honorary Research Associate with the University of Nottingham Asia Research Institute Malaysia, Senior Research Associate of the Hu Feng Center for East Asia Democratic Studies of National Taiwan University and Senior Associate Fellow of The Habibie Center.
In this event, we would like to discuss Malaysia’s current internal and external affairs. Furthermore, we would like to address Malaysia’s upcoming elections and perspective on the recent ASEAN-US Summit.
Together we will highlight the implications of the recent developments for the Indo-Pacific.
The event will be held in English.
