In today’s DISKURSE lecture Nikita Dhawan is speaking about the „Self-Barbarization“ of Europe. The Professor of Political Science with the focus on political theory and gender studies is the director of the research platform „Identities – Discourses – Transformations“ at the University of Innsbruck. In her speech she analyses the connection between cosmopolitanism, post-colonialism and how Europe’s attitude towards its colonial past will affect it’s future. After her talk she will discuss with the young researchers from the thinktank Polis180 Alexandra Embiricos and Natalie Welfens.
