Let’s talk about Europe’s future!

Kick-Off Event “Post Brexit Europe”

Tuesday, 25.10.2016

6.00-8.30pm

On June 23, British people voted to leave the European Union. As early as March 2017, Article 50 will be triggered, launching the two-year negotiation process to exit the EU.

This is the biggest game-changer to the European integration process since the fall of the Berlin Wall. It will force us to fundamentally rethink the European idea – but it could also potentially trigger a new impetus for European politics. In the words of Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker: This is not the time for business as usual.

We at Polis180 believe that young Europeans must be an integral part of the discussion about our future with – or without –  the European Union.

This is why at Polis180 we decided to launch the „Post-Brexit Europe“ programme area within the Programme EU. Over the next year, our aim is to give our generation a voice in the upcoming debates and to discuss together our ideas for post-Brexit Europe.

Here are some of the topics we would like to discuss with you:

  • Which direction will the European Union take?
  • What role will the Franco-German duo play?
  • How will future EU-UK relations look like?
  • What new opportunities have arisen and what is our vision for Europe?
  • and many more…

Be part of the debate! We are looking forward to seeing you.
