Our discussion takes us through modern Nepalese history, the current political events that have led up to the formal split of Nepal’s ruling party, the implications that this could have for Nepal’s relationships with its neighbors China and India respectively, as well as Nepal’s response to the coronavirus crisis.
Supral Raj Joshi is a media and communications specialist, a TV and radio host, and a voice actor. He has a background in International Relations and Diplomacy, as well as China Studies, and graduated from Peking University’s Yenching Academy. Most recently, he has been hosting a Nepalese TV show called “Quarantime” where he spoke to experts and policymakers on various issues surrounding the coronavirus crisis.
